    Pros

Senior Helpers is the first job I've had in a long time where I feel I can make a positive difference for the Senior Community.

Millions of Americans will face heartbreaking decisions this year when an elderly parent or grandparent is no longer able to live on their own. In fact, more than 50 million people, one in five adults, will provide care for a chronically ill, disabled, or elderly family member or friend during the coming year.

Senior Helpers is a company that offers help to those stressed out from taking care of a Parent. I had to do this 15 years ago when my own Mother was ill and wish there was a service like this available then for me.

    Cons

Long hours but the flexible schedule makes up for it.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Matching the right Care Giver with our Clients is essential and will reward itself in the long run. Developing good relationships with the Client should be a priority. A happy worker is a productive worker.

I have been working at Senior Helpers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

hands on with clients in need of physical and mental assistant needs. Working in the health care field, the abilities to grow and gain knowledgeable learning as CNA responsibilities, and duties. Patient care is number one priority in the ability to keep them in their own homes for as long as it is possible. The benefits are reasonable.

    Cons

The various working hours and fill in schedules you maybe called in to fill a position for the day your scheduled off. Some hours are extended and requires me to find last moment notice for baby sitters.

    Advice to Management

Over all they are a great and professional company to work for who cares about and devoted to making their clients needs top priority and providing them with necessary equipment and staffing to maintaint he needs for long-term care of the elder and disabled clients.

I have been working at Senior Helpers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you want to help people then this the job for you. If you want to get rich quick then this is not the job for you. The rewards come often when a client smiles at you or simply says thank you. I feel great at the end of my day knowing I made someone's day a bit happier.

    Cons

No insurance for part time employees.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good works.

    Pros

When I was helping a former client, I fell on the ice during a snowstorm and broke my leg. Senior Helpers was very understanding and paid all of my bills and wages through their Workers Compensation Insurance. No hassles and I could return to work when I was healed enough to do light duty then full duty.

    Cons

A little bit of confusion with scheduling.

    Advice to Management

Thank you so much!! You are a super awesome professional outfit that strives to provide the best care to your clients and employees!
