Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in New York, NY

I worked at SeniorBridge full-time for more than a year

      Pros

None other than it is employment. If you get prestige from catering to one per enters in Manhattan and being perceived as inferior sevent by wealthy people this is for you

      Cons

Horrific workload of busy work, poor quality of care, elitist patients, paranoia inducing management style.

      Advice to Management

Grow a soul. You are bad people.

I have been working at SeniorBridge full-time for more than a year

        Pros

PTO accrues quickly.... It says I have to write 20 words but really I don't have anything else positive to say....

        Cons

The corporate office believes that all markets are the same, selling the same service as other private duty companies but charging $3 per hour more, a lot of the care givers are lazy thieves and management knows but sweeps it under the rug, management pits staff against each other, no work life balance at ALL even though they claim it's important to them! HA!, sales management is a JOKE from corporate all the way down!,...

        Advice to Management

Wake up, this isn't high school anymore! The way you conduct business and treat your employees is noted by the referral sources. Listen when your lower level employees reach out.

I have been working at SeniorBridge part-time for less than a year

              Pros

They are very flexible when it comes to scheduling you for work. It's always pretty easy to get ahold of someone when needed.

              Cons

They start off at such a low pay rate. Communications could be better when it comes to the scheduling. Although they're easy to get ahold of, getting the right info is sometimes a challenge.

              Advice to Management

Need to work on communication with clients and families.

              Cons

They ask you to drive up to 50 miles on way for a four hour shift.

              Advice to Management

              None.

              Approves of CEO

I worked at SeniorBridge for less than a year

              Pros

The pros are the low cost of insurance and good salary for the position.

              Cons

To busy with hundreds of useless emails and not getting the actual job done. Regional management too busy micro-managing and getting in the way of doing your job.

              Advice to Management

Regional management thinks they know more on how to operate an office that is licensed by the state when they don't live in the state and don't know the regulations.
