I worked at Sephora part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Sephora places a lot of focus on trainings. They are always promoting artistry skills, product knowledge and the latest skincare, makeup, fragrance and tools of the trade. Sephora offers flexible work hour schedules but require weekend availability. The companies give employees tons of free products to try, which is by far the best perk.

    Cons

Low pay, over worked. Color consultants bust their butts doing makeovers especially on the weekends and holidays. Skin care consultants do facials . Sephora expects you to have knowledge and perform tasks as if you’re making $75.00 an hour.

    Advice to Management

Have more realistic expectations and pay better

I worked at Sephora full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Education and gratis were great

    Cons

Management needs improvement in all areas they are clueless about cosmetics, they pressure the artists on the floor. They work you to death and do not pay enough.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees correctly and value them. Lead by example and maybe the turn over rate will decrease
