    Pros

    Great Management staff, Company values are great and can help you in your own life (not just on stage), team playing coworkers which is great for new people on stage, gratis, discount, prep before every shift by management.

    Cons

    Having to return goods to your own store ( I live an hour away from mine), not being able to get the 1000 pt perk rewards (I've been a VIB Rouge for years, but because I work for Sephora now, I am not able to get those rewards).

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    - Fantastic education on makeup, skincare, even fragrance.
    - Fun, energetic environment
    - Surprising pay and benefits for retail
    - Potential for growth if you want it

    Cons

    - Classic retail management issues. Playing favorites, making examples of some while letting others slide.
    - If you don't act like you LOVE Sephora, you'll be scrutinized
    - Work/life balance can be an issue

    Management should be more flexible and understanding of real life issues. Also, as always, listen to your employees!

    Gratis sometimes sucked, would be sent home after working only a few hours if the store did not meet a certain dollar amount in sales.

    nice discount (20% all items, 40% Sephora collection), flexible with hours, 401k retirement plan and benefits

    Cons

    management plays favorites, does not know how to manage properly, no training for job yet expects you to have extensive knowledge, cashiers are treated like second-class citizens and never get help even when it is not busy

    treat cashiers better. they are the backbone of your customer service

    overworked and under paid. No celebration when going above and beyond for the business and clients
