    Pros

Innovative technology, their genetic tests provide great value to patients, payers and physicians. First to market with a non invasive pre-natal test.

I worked at Sequenom Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Great science, important work, some brilliant scientific minds.

    Cons

Horrible communication at almost all levels. Extremely high turnover (also at all levels) causes suspicion of what might be happening in departments other than one's own. It's truly a shame that the great work being done is at a company who seems to care not a whit about the employees.

    Advice to Management

Have some transparency with your employees. Experiment in trust and see what kinds of rewards everyone will reap.

CLIA. Laboratory (middle) management, nepotism, many CLSs have no understanding or background of molecular biology.

    Advice to Management

    None! They won't listen anyway.
