    Pros

Comprehensive benefits packages. Fun variety of company-sponsored events.

    Cons

Corporate management leads through fear. Encourage employees to be innovative and stand out but chastise those that have new ideas or have individuality. Favoritism runs rampant across all levels.

    Pros

You are given all the tools to succeed, I have worked for Mom and Pop gigs to large property management company’s. By far the most professional and truly concerned about your growth as a person and a professional.

    Cons

The weight online complaint warriors have today.

I have been working at Sequoia Equities full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Sequoia truly has become my family. You aren't just another employee number among thousands, but are actually valued for your contributions and dedication. Yes, it can be a lot of work at times, but the rewards are definitely worth the effort.

    Cons

None whatsoever. In four years with the company, I really haven't found anything that's really a major issue.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for the support provided to the on site teams, and for enabling us to do the right thing for our residents.

I worked at Sequoia Equities full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company atmosphere is amazing, training, holiday trips, work like balance goals are all great. Clearly defined and attainable bonus plan in place. Seems like they care about their residents and their employees. Stephanie Huhman at The Mill at First Hill location is amazing, as are the rest of the people there. If it had not been for a series of incompetent people placed in the service manager position I would still be working there, but I hear they have since found a great one!

    Cons

Sometimes they care until they don't, and certain issues aren't handled in an ideal way, but no major cons. If a poor performing supervisor is placed, it is not easily resolved. Sometimes upward mobility can be stagnant.

    Advice to Management

I wouldn't begin to know what to recommend on how to fix some of these issues, but I do think they try their best in most cases.
