    excellent facilities, excellent technical staff, strong ability to provide custom cloud to companies, great reputation among technical buyers, deep experience in colo, cloud, and IP

    Cons

    employee benefits are not in line with other smaller size tech firms

    Pros

    Mission driven, lots of flexibility and great relationships. The families and sponsors are amazing. The company continues to make changes that are beneficial to its employees.

    health insurance and other perks that most companies have

    Environment morale low
    Insecure and incompetent leaders at ServerCentral and Cachefly sister company
    Draconian leadership

    Advice to Management

    People don't quit companies, they quit bosses. Read it again
    Stop hiring unqualified weak employees and managers

    I have been working at ServerCentral full-time

    Pros

    The best culture of any place I've been. Everyone is smart, sharp, and ready to jump in and solve things. Things get done quickly - no red tape here! Company largely feels like a very large group of friends working together. Fast-paced and still growing, with room to leave your mark.

    Cons

    The "get things done quickly" attitude has its downsides - there's not always much structured planning. A lot is reactionary and done on the fly, which means things are rarely done the same way twice, and good luck if you have to figure out how/why something was done more than a year ago. Everyone being willing to jump in leads to too many cooks in the kitchen at times, or no one knowing who the head chef is.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the big picture and communicate that to the company. Let your very-capable lieutenants do their jobs without micromanagement. Give them the staffing, budget, and support to carry out plans.

    Pros

    Fun, casual work environment, beer refrigerator, great products and clients, employee lunches and parties are nice, teamwork and collaboration on team awesome

    Cons

    Every decision, even minor ones, made by two-man executive management team, communication is silo-ed, preferential treatment, no career path

    Trust your employees enough to delegate decisions, work to include every employee, not just inner circle, treat everyone equally
