    Pros

Opportunities for growth in the operation side.

    Cons

Corporate loses sight of what really is going on in the shops

I worked at Service King Collision Repair Centers full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Benefits are decent. PTO is also pretty good for the industry

    Cons

Manager at my location is completely oblivious. Never leaves office, constantly plays on phone . If you try to bring up issues, it's your fault, and there's never an attempt to correct anything.

    Advice to Management

Get your head out of the sand, and get new management. Get rid of GEICO while you are at it.

I have been working at Service King Collision Repair Centers full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    High pay if you hustle.

    Cons

Major disconnect between management and ground level employees.

    Advice to Management

Spend a day in the shoes of your advisors, and you will see that expectations of this job are not attainable by most people. Job description needs refinement, and delegation of tasks is needed to help let advisors do their job.

I worked at Service King Collision Repair Centers full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

Great benefits, l loved my job

      Cons

Where do I start...the pay raises were obsolete and we made minimal to begin with. I had a very dis honest shady boss who came in and destroyed the whole morale of the shop. The higher ups knew he was dishonest but never did anything about it. We all slowly up and left because no one listened!

      Advice to Management

Open your eyes and take notice of the good loyal employees you have. You treat everyone like they're replaceable

I worked at Service King Collision Repair Centers full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

I enjoyed my job and the varied number of skills I acquired, I liked lots of my team members

      Cons

The company grew 3x or more in a short period of time and still operated management like the company was sub 500 employees. I was easily juggling 80-100hrs of work revamping everything from the ground up while 5-6 team members were goofing off and taking long lunches and watching football games during work hours. A year after working there I still speak to current employees and vendors who lament me leaving because "nothing...

      Advice to Management

Realize that every department depends on the others in order to create a healthy company. Too many departments think they are on an island and departments based at HQ particularly often forget that the "front line" employees are ultimately the people who bring in the money that pays for departments like HR, accounting, Management, training, and IT.
