I have been working at Service Marketing Equinox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My co-workers are salt of the earth and will go out of their way to help a newbie adapt to the demands of the job and the work environment. There is some flexibility in your schedule and supervisors will be understanding if you have an emergency, medical or otherwise.

    Cons

The salary is minimum wage plus an inconsequential bonus/commission that equates to a dollar an hour if you hit 100% of requirements. There are no sick days and group insurance after a years employment. Training is sketchy at best. There is no possibility to advance. The physical environment is depressing. Run down and in need of a face lift. You are lucky if you can find a decent chair to sit on.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees more. Generate new profitable business so that you can offer a better salary and benefits to your employees.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Service Marketing Equinox part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

good if u r just looking for a summer job that is mindless and doesn't involve any hard work. Very lenient about taking days off.

    Cons

gets boring if u r a person who likes to be occupied and likes a challenge. Push for sales and are very picky on who you sell products. No room for creativity or skill.

    Advice to Management

Should be allowed to have writing utensils on the floor. Should be less strict on selling technique and should give longer breaks.
