    Cons

The pay could be a little higher, but I understand for what the profession is.

I worked at ServiceMaster full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There aren't many. The only bonus is flex schedule.

    Cons

National Accounts is the worse dept yo work for. Most of the company management team goy their jobs because of who they know and not what they now or can delivery. Company as a whole is very unethical.

    Advice to Management

Look at your dept. heads and finding out what they are really doing versus what all the associates are doing. And pay people according to their work.

I worked at ServiceMaster full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None. Unless you enjoy being lied to and taken advantage of.

    Cons

The business itself. It is ran horribly. Nobody knows what's going on. They ask you to use your money to buy supplies then they don't reimburse you. They get you to lie to insurance companies and take fake pics of equipment that wasn't used so they can charge it to their customers.

    Advice to Management

Sell. You have no business doing business. You alienate your employees, encourage racism and sexism all while hiding behind the christian company shield. Stop lying and taking advantage of people.

I have been working at ServiceMaster full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great salary, excellent benefits, generous vacation time, sick leave, personal time. Company encourages innovation, finding creative solutions, and doing things on the cutting edge. It is also very involved in the community. This is the first job where I look forward to going in every day.

    Cons

I cannot think of any cons. There are the normal annoyances that come with working with others, but it isn't so bad that I hate going to work.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. I appreciate your enthusiasm, how engaged you are in what the average employee is doing, and proactive communication. You guys help make my job fun and productive.

I have been working at ServiceMaster (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity for hours and overtime. Out of town possibilities are frequent and a great way to make more money and see places you may have never seen and help in big ways when a disaster strikes.

    Cons

Management favorites certain people and seems to make the hard workers suffer. They have a knack for chasing away good people and keeping the ones who really shouldn't be trusted alone in your house.

    Advice to Management

Fair, unbiased, single standard treatment to all employees regardless of friendships. Stick to the rule book. Don't overstress your technicians or they won't be able to keep to the moral traditions set by the company's founding.

    Pros

Not many, culture is changing quickly for the worse.

    Cons

Executive management team is all about who you know and not what you deliver. Many do not understand the business and think IT is the solution to everything.

I have been working at ServiceMaster full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nothing positive to say. Those at the top who can, do whatever they want in terms of pay cuts, layoffs, etc to those at the bottom who can't do anything about it.

    Cons

Poor leadership from the top down.
There is no career path only selfish interests and money grabs from the top at the expense of those at the bottom. You know it's a bad environment when every policy is implemented under duress with "Agree to this or be fired". You are in a no win position. wish i had the courage to quit the first time it happened.

    Advice to Management

It is obvious you have no interest in actually running the company. Your interest seems to be in lining your own selfish pockets with as much cash as you can as fast as you can. You are not even discreet about it it. Shameful and disgusting. Why not pay employees more instead of stuffing your already too fat pockets. Greed

I worked at ServiceMaster (More than a year)

    Pros

The creative department gives you amazing experience with working in a fast paced, process-driven environment. The current director, Rebecca Zerilla is an amazing leader and wants to see growth in her team as well as the business. The experience you have the opportunity to gain is priceless. The programs and equipment are always up-to-date and top-of-the line to ensure optimum productivity.

    Cons

I have found no downsides as the team has grown and truly become an amazing agency to work for.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
