    Pros

Autonomy is fairly plentiful which means one can work on things that aligned with their specific agenda.

    Cons

Autonomy unchecked is not good, especially when teams fail to work with each other, leveraging their experience and expertise to help one another, it becomes a free for all. Leadership is a bit myopic in this area and if they could see what is going on, perhaps they could succeed at a faster rate.

    Advice to Management

Transformative change is indeed good, but there must be some checks and balances to ensure teams are doing what they need to support the company vision as it ebbs and flows. Lack of attention to the areas that need it occurs often in favor of saving money. Do you really know what your customers want?

    Cons

Increasingly competetive between employees. More cliquey now. Hardly any women in upper management. Low pay.

    Pros

Great place for college grads to get their start in a corporate setting and build experience quickly. The training wheels come in the style of the environment; laid back, casual and open to learning opportunities. Great way to build your experience, your network and make friends since many of the centers are 200 + employees between the ages of 25- 35.

    Cons

Many costs advantageous to employees; raises, performance bonuses, engagement events and rewards, have gone out the window. First-level employees get paid less than the same-type roles in the market and first-level management has trouble keeping up with business demands which causes frustrations and high turnover for all bottom-level roles. This company machine also runs a bit haphazardly. Impractical business strategies are put in place; outside sales and account management teams over promise on unrealistic deals and it typically hurts first level management & employees because they are not properly prepared or well-lead.

    Advice to Management

Outside Sales and Account Management- start making DOABLE contract deals that work within the true abilities of the current company you work for. Do not over promise and expect lower bracket employees to just "figure it out" during implementation. It causes a mess and smells like careless greed.
Leaders, if you're not going to pay your low-level employees market-competitive rates, then I can only say 2 things:
    1. Train them as well as you can and treat them with RESPECT and KINDNESS or you will lose them
    2. You get what you pay for; talented individuals who will move onto better offers they deserve - or - you'll get poor-fit individuals who will just make the cut but won't make for best performance results.

I worked at ServiceSource (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Average age is about 25 in this place, so if you are fresh out of college and like the frat boy type work environment this would be perfect. They have beer Fridays!, Bonus incentive is through the roof and you can make a lot of money as a sales rep. Fun company that and coworkers that become your actual friends. Casual dress every day!

    Cons

Not very professional, high turnover rate. As quick as they hire you they can fire you even quicker for not attaining your quota. Very unfair with management matriculation. You are in the middle of downtown so be prepared to walk from the parking garage a few blocks away. You are sometimes staying late during End of Quarter to hit your numbers, and not always paid for it.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees

I have been working at ServiceSource (More than a year)

    Pros

A very steep learning curve which forces employees to branch out and become experts in many different CRM systems.

While being contracted to different corporations you gain a much broader perspective on how business is done.

Working with large sets of data and becoming an expert with spreadsheets (Excel) has made me confident that I can analyze and organize any project efficiently and accurately.

    Cons

After 2 full years of providing excellent service and earning multiple rewards for outstanding achievement I received no performance bonuses and found very few opportunities for advancement that weren't earmarked for employees with personal connections to the management team.

    Advice to Management

Talent should be scouted from within the company. While working with SSI I have learned to program in 3 languages and have created multiple time saving tools to support my team. My reward for this service was a plaque for "Above and Beyond Service" with no name on it and no other incentive to speak of.

I worked at ServiceSource (More than a year)

    Pros

The C-level team is one of the best I have ever worked with at any company. They were brought on throughout 2015 and were digging in as soon as each of them were hired by the CEO.

    Cons

Company going through a transition due to bad sales year in 2014. This caused uncertainty and insecurity. A tough place to be after being reassured that all was well.

    Advice to Management

To the C-level branch, keep doing what you are doing

I have been working at ServiceSource full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, great culture of people, pretty easy going for most teams and positions.

    Cons

Constant CEO changes and structure changes, due to poor management and vision in the past almost destroyed the company. Most people haven't received raises in over a year at this point and are constantly leaving.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting using a fraternity mentality and do so by actual qualification for the position.
