I have been working at Servisair full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The work is not hard. There is plenty of down time or breaks.

    Cons

The biggest challenge dealing with the weather. Mandatory overtime working back to back 16 hours shifts.

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat your employees better. You run them like dogs and expect them to be grateful for it. Don't ask someone else to do the job if you are not willing to do it yourself. And learn how your own system works for goodness sake

I worked at Servisair full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible when it came to work.

    Cons

No real benefits outside experience. Conditions are bad. Only paid $9.00/hr. Issues getting parking decal made it take longer than necessary to clock in and leave. Not all personnel were professional. Conditions were meh. Wasn't always given the full amount of money worked. Mostly work. Little to no time to do much outside of work.

  3. "Short staffed frustrations"

    Pros

    Newer ramp equipment is reliable

    Cons

Low pay for the work and responsibility

    Advice to Management

Get fully staffed before firing employees for a few tardys. It makes for a very unsafe work place when we are spread super thin, but are still expected to pull off all operations with no issues. Very bad ramp manager, who cares only about his bonuses.

    Cons

EVERYTHING, no uniforms in over a year.. theree very smart on how to cover there own rear. no benfit for any individual except maybe experience at an airport.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Servisair part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learning how to marshall planes in, using a belt loader, and other equipment like the pushback.

    Cons

The pay was not so great for a job like this. No free flights benefits. Co-workers at the time we're not friendly.

    Advice to Management

At the time I was getting paid $8.75 for being a Ramp Agent. I believed ALL of us ramp agents deserve a better pay than that. Considering how dangerous this job can be and how close we are to the engines of the planes. Manager wasn't there most of the time and it just seems like most of the employees there gets away with almost anything. LITERALLY.

    Cons

Training, Managers, Pay, Benefits, Promotions. Serioeusly, Everything!!!

    Advice to Management

This is suppose to be a Customer Service oriented business, well this company needs major help in this area. Not to mention how bad they treat their employee"s!
