I have been working at SevenTablets full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Coming from a rather dramatic group in my last job, I appreciate the SevenTablets team so much!
The people I'm surrounded by are the perfect mix of hilarious and hard-working.
They're always happy to help. We truly have a team environment you won't find in many other businesses.

Flexible upper management, so you don't feel like a criminal for having a doctor's appointment.
They are respectful of your life outside of work.

    Cons

Lots of snacks, but healthier options would be great!
We do better than most companies, so I really can't complain.

    Advice to Management

Keep improving the office space and stay eager to learn about your employees and what's important to them.

    Pros

Healthy growth over the past two years.
    Innovative solutions for the clients
The company is excellent at helping clients solve real life business problems by the innovative use of mobile technology.
Company really cares about their clients and the SevenTablets team. Good leadership team from top to bottom

Nothing that keeps you up at night. Everyone respects one another and everyone does their best to deliver the best possible solution for the client. Sometimes we have tight deadlines which require some extra work hours but that is to be expected

    Advice to Management

Keep on improving and keep on growing.

Management is very flexible and is committed to being the best at what they do. They do not just give lip service they invest into being a great company that differentiates itself. CEO is hands on and will do whatever it takes to help win business.

    Cons

Because of growth we are needing more developers. The current team is fairly maxed out and we have more and more projects coming in.

    Advice to Management

Stick to the formula that you currently have in adding only the right people and sticking to your business beliefs.

    Pros

    Always has snacks and drinks.

    Cons

As a UX Designer, I found it very difficult to express my creativity without it being driven in a different direction. The CEO and the CTO do not understand the time and appreciation of user research. They expect you to flush out wire frames and comps in a short time frame as well as work on multiple projects. I heard through a few other designers that this place was a bad environment for designers but I ignored it. I should have listened to my gut feeling. I must say I did get to work on some cool stuff while I was there, they just didn't get a chance to be developed based upon over bidding the jobs. All in all this place is not a good environment. They have no design lead so they use the CTO as a development manager and a design manager which in my experience is horrible. They paid very well though.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the CTO he has ruined everything since he gotten there.
