    Pros

Employees are supportive of one another.

Time management of employees is negatively impacted due to senior management's constant change of company's short term goals. This is non productive and therefore employees are overworked.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Severn Trent Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lawton is a great small community in the Midwest. The plant is relatively simple to operate. The effluent is something to be proud of when you operate properly. Influent is pretty consistent.

    Cons

Combined rainwater can cause increased intake. When things break there are only two employees to stand duty. Severn Trent has become markedly unstable and does not take care of the employees our customers.

    Advice to Management

Replace management and become dedicated to a solid business plan.

    Pros

Good benefits and 401k. Nice equipment. Very safety minded. pay is ok but you will not break the bank

    Cons

little to no management, no feedback on work quality, rules are wrote in pencil, extreme amount of turmoil, gossip and drama. be prepared when you turn in your notice to leave (Austin, TX office) to be regarded as worthless and a traitor.

    Advice to Management

Austin, TX office---Quit and do the company a favor and get off the 3% raise BS and pay your people to stay instead of pocketing the bonus money that you tell the employees don't exsist

I worked at Severn Trent Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Friday breakfasts, pay is decent

    Cons

Unprofessional environment, unorganized structure, employees are overworked and spread too thin. Management is there to cover their own ass and are ready and willing to throw anyone under the bus at the drop of a hat. The Houston office is dilapidated, old-style management is apparent everywhere and new talent is not embraced - conform, get out, or get fired.

    Advice to Management

Get it together. Embrace new talent and provide proper training for every employee.
