I worked at Seward & Kissel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly people, great location. The work is pretty monotonous and boring, but that's part of the job. You get a lot of interaction with clients and associates.

    Cons

Like most law offices, some attitudes can really affect your work day. For the most part, this isn't that bad. But when it rains, it pours.

    Advice to Management

Update internal policies regarding non-legal staff. A lot of "rules" aren't written, or if they are it's in an extremely dated guide.

    Pros

Work environment pleasant and attorneys first-rate, nice people.

    Cons

Office gossiping, administrators don't promote from within, little chance for loners.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the accused and give fair assessments.
