    I worked at Shanks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Not many, hard to think of any, free Tea and coffee

    Cons

    Bullying and Blame culture, not a very nice place to work.

    Advice to Management

    The current management team are clueless and cannot manage, the directors know the site is suffering from poor leadership.
    I can only think that they endorse bullying and blame cultures.

    Pros

    The company provides a good work area. And a pension scheme. The work place is close to my home so travelling is quick. The people are good to work with

    Cons

    I just simply want a change of direction there are really no cons I can think off Want to get into another type of work . There is a lot of computer work now and I feel I am not up to speed with all the changes in this area

    Advice to Management

    Looking for a different career change .I'm a team player .punctual, extremely low sick record fit and healthy safety conscious

    I have been working at Shanks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Decent pension contribution, saving scheme, sick leave and other employee benefits
    A wide variety of operations throughout UK and Europe, so fair chance of being able to draw on other employees' experience

    Cons

    No communication
    Culture of getting rid of people in a disgusting way
    Very limited internal support
    Complete lack of internal training or CPD
    Lack of career progression opportunities
    No opportunities to visit/work at other operations to improve own experience

    Advice to Management

    Reinstate communication between senior management and employees
