    Pros

    1. Provide all the facilities wherever an employee is posted.
    2. Compensatory leaves are granted if an employee works on non-working day.
    3. Good infrastructure is provided for on-site staff.
    4. Freshers are given special attention for their training program.
    5. Company is known for providing one of the best training program across industry.
    6. Salaries offered are best in industry.

    Cons

    1. It is expected to work for long hours and to be available on site sometimes even after working hours.
    2. Sundays are non-working but employee can be called without prior notice.
    3. Company is conservative for granting holidays.
    4. For freshers starting salary may be on the lower side.
    5. Few departments are very conservative for inclusion of freshers from construction field.

    Advice to Management

    Training provided to GETs is very commendable. Still if freshers get to see different projects of various types can really add up to it. All departments must be open for freshers for working in future according to the their will and capabilities.

    2.Most employee centric construction company in India
    3.What they have offered they will provide irrespective of the market condition.

    5.Multiple scopes for higher studies career development.

    7.Extra leaves in case of personal emergencies and health issues.

    Cons

    1.Being a 150 years old company there has to be a level of burecracy in the system.

    2.The company is very conservative so growth is gradual and slow,but a long term association always bears fruit.Just think of it how many companies get you a NICMAR degree and Executive MBA from SP Jain for free.

    Advice to Management

    Give young minds some hope in real estate arm of the company decisions takes ages which gives away a negative feednack to young employees

    Pros

    Salary is better than some competitors.
    If lucky, good teams provides you for good learning experience.

    Cons

    But no work life balance, politics, no-practical/professional approach, no employee engagement, scarce good managers/teams, un-necessary practices/processes..... list goes on...

    Advice to Management

    Take care of employees first. If they are happy, then company will automatically take you to better heights

    Timely salary
    A long time project in hand

    Cons

    Only one project is there in hand in Bangalore and no further exposure. Salary is not up to the standard if you are old employee. New recruits with lower experience will get higher salary. Partial treatment to the employee by higher ups. Unprofessional HR/Admin guy. Unsystematic & bureaucracy

    Get a systematic approach
    Identify and appreciate the work

    Pros

    Lateral shifting is possible, GETs get preferential treatment, there is also a leadership program called ALDEP. Good for learning in and outs of construction industry.

    Cons

    Really Low salary, almost no bonus. Long work hour, tough site life, slow progress of projects. Growth is sterile after 4-5 years

    Advice to Management

    Increase pay band to at least industry standard. Provide better quality of life to employees at site.
