    Company is trying to get ahead of the curve and be a market leader Strong Leadership from the top Stable due to Foxconn partnership Have a seat at the table with large corporations again due to Foxconn relationship

    I worked at Sharp Electronics (US) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    There are a few good people who bust their butts to do a great job at SBS-Alpharetta. Their core offerings are strong products for the most part.

    Cons

    The comp plan is designed around hitting multiple buckets that SBS is trying to play in. However, they only do one or two of them well enough to make a sale and do the project right. Additionally, the Subject Matter Experts are a mix of unmotivated, overburdened, in some cases incapable of doing the job they are being overpaid to do. Which makes it difficult to make a living there as a sales person reliant on these... folks to help win deals outside of the core products.

    Advice to Management

    Get some strong sales leadership. Hire engaged subject matter experts who know their job and are anxious to do it. Provide tools to the sales team to do their job like a CRM, a realistic expense account, and a realistic comp plan.

    Nice benefits, good people, fun environment. The bosses and CEO are nice people and there are no problems at all.

    Cons

    None really, it's a good place overall. Maybe give more vacation time for employees. That is always appreciated. It's a good place.
