    Pros

    The company was flexible and friendly. Although my manager was not a leader, there were many in the department that worked to achieve comradarie and success

    Cons

    As Sharp is a Japanese owned company, the American management liked to throw around rules where the Japanese managers created a much more family atmosphere

    Advice to Management

    It's been a long time since I was employed at Sharp, so I can't comment to management.

    a casual office and far from city center. Nice system of over time that you can take some over time cumulative hours in the future.

    some stupid rules such as changing shoes when you are in the office building.

    Good Brand Name. Quality Products. Willingness to make one-of-a-kind-product.

    Cons

    Report Oriented organization. Lack of market specific focus. Military rule - Commander knows everything on the earth.

    Advice to Management

    Understand market requirements and realities better. Don't be under delusion "any monkey can sell' SHARP products. Need new & Diverse blood in management to revive culture and direction.
