Reviews about "good pay"
Return to all Reviews- Former Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Good pay, talented lawyers, collegial atmosphere
Cons
Some old school partners stuck in their ways, long hours, nights/weekends/vacations interrupted

Pros
Good benefits, good pay, co-workers were friendly and understanding if I needed time off.
Cons
Hours can be very unpredictable and demanding. I knew this going in but it still came as a bit of a shock (which is totally on me in all fairness). Just try to be honest with yourself about whether being asked at 5:00 PM on a Tuesday to stay until 2AM would bother you, because this role really doesn't allow you to say no.
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Overall everyone is very nice. As is typical, some attorneys are better than others. But my experience was an overall positive one. Pay is good and the hours are reasonable
Cons
There wasn’t much emphasis on career development or fostering a community among the paralegals. We were often not invited to the attorney events (happy hours, etc), but also not considered staff so we missed out on those events too
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Pay is good and unlimited sick is offered for salaried employees
Cons
Hard to move up or into different departs. No room for growth for business associates
Continue reading - Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
High profile work, trainings for CLE credit, good pay
Cons
Not much legal training. You need to learn on the job. No work-life balance.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Partners treat associates with respect, which makes for a good working environment. Work is interesting and challenging. Pay is good.
Cons
The hours are very long. There are limited opportunities to make partner. There is a lot of uncertainty in law firms today.

Pros
There is good pay and overtime, good hours (9:30 start time), many resources at hand. Clean and comfortable working space.
Cons
Poor collegial culture, few perks, senior partners extremely hesitant to change technology which I believe resulted in slipping rankings. General atmosphere of unhappiness.

Pros
Good pay and training programme
Cons
Long hours, limited work life balance
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Good pay and nice colleagues.
Cons
Disorganised senior management, lack of support
