I have been working at Shelby County Schools (Alabama) full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Most workers are kind and want the best thing for students.

    Cons

In order to move up in the district, you must be prepared to play the political game. It is not what you know, it is who you know who can give you a hand up.

    Advice to Management

Not all managers are right 100% of the time. You should listen to the concerns of your workers and act on them.
