Pros
Good salary on papers but as there is no tax benefit (not even LTA) your net pay is very less. If you are lucky to get a good boss, you are set, otherwise get ready to be fired anytime for any frivolous reason
Cons
Indian management is crap and misusing Shell policy. If you earn high, India HR will identify you and will give some aliby to fire you anytime to show "cost saving" & "realignment policy". No chance of any promotion even after 4 years, unless you keep your oil machine to Indian management running. Even for health reason, they can fire you shedding crocodile tears. Discrimination is rampant and Indian Senior management is not trustworthy

Pros
It is a great company and it is providing lot of benefits to its employees as I heard. Company is providing lot of opportunities to learn good things. It is very good working atmosphere
Cons
Sometimes being too scientific rather than engineering thinking slows down decision making. Little training or opportunity for learning management or leadership skills, even though supposedly available.
