      I worked at Shepherd’s Care Foundation full-time

      Pros

Working in not for profit means you can feel like your job matters Pay was fair

      Cons

Organization is very poorly run. The management doesn't walk the walk and makes empty promises time and again. Work life balance is horrific and working 65 hours a week is expected and unappreciated. Inability for management to take responsibility and hold people accountable for not meeting standards means more work for the best employees.

      Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and stop trying to be something bigger and better. Fix your core business and spend time and money on better systems and processes. Empower people and hold the accountable if they fall short. Be fair to all, not just the yes men.
