    I have been working at Sherwin-Williams full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great environment to work in.
    Great management
    Work life balance
    District managers are very helpful
    Great benefits as well as 401k program

    Cons

    Can be long hours (7-6)
    Lot of information to learn
    Contractors can be rude
    Sometimes part timers don't "buy in". But that may just be at my store.

    Pros

    -Great benefits
    -some flexibility with schedule
    -pay for school at full-time level
    -Some managers are great
    -There are a few great positions within the company, but they are rare

    Cons

    -Horrible base pay
    -Some managers sufer from "God" syndrome
    -Distinct class difference between store-level and all other employees
    -DM's will often lie to your face...Really they will!

    Advice to Management

    If you are going to extend the store hours, and cut the number of workable hours at the same stores, expect customer service and sales to decline.
