    I worked at Sherwin-Williams part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay for a entry level position in sales.
vacation hours + sick days is nice.
Opportuinity to grow within company is there, but depends on how well you can seem to be hard working to management.

    Cons

    - personally had a bad experience with some management due to lack of training and miscommunication.
    - as a second key worked alone and had to deal with influx of customers while also completing weekend tasks.

    Advice to Management

More training would be nice, specifically practical training: non paint theory related.

I have been working at Sherwin-Williams part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Part time with 401k
    More interesting than standard retail
Competitive pay with yearly raise (not by much but still)
Women are (for the most part) celebrated, women only functions occasionally
    Focus on promoting within company

    Cons

Unfair weather policies, I lost eight hours of pay.
No training offered to part time associates, you learn in the trenches which is not always a bad thing but an in place PHYSICAL training to part time employees would be a great improvement. We have test to take online but they're confusing.
At my particular store I am required to work 28 hrs and being a student with other obligations it's tough to do that which makes me consider giving my two weeks notice
We sell heavy stuff so you have to lift heavy stuff. This is a con but I can deal for the most part
If you're a lady who likes girly things, leave it at the door if you work in the store.

    Advice to Management

    Part timers matter too.

    I worked at Sherwin-Williams full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, solid company to work for to get early experience. Learn about P&L, creating sales and running your own small business if you are a manager of any sort

    Cons

If you work in a store without an adequate amount of staffing things can get crazy. Hours change week to week. OT can vary from 5+ hours if need be

    Advice to Management

Provide more in depth process for managers in training. Offering more teaching with the in and outs of being a manager for SW

    I worked at Sherwin-Williams full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good 401k match.
    No work pressure.
    Decent work life balance.

    Cons

    Old technologies.
People doing the same thing for the last 10+ years and they plan to retire with it as well.
Unfair policies and underhand dealing with private staffing firms, seems to employ people with fake/forged experience again and again inspite of alerting the managers.

    Pros

Once work is done you are free to relax.. depending on the manager

    Cons

The manager can make your life hard here. There are usually only 4-6 people per store, so if you have a bad supervisor your life becomes increasingly difficult
