I have been working at Shofur full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

*Software engineers at Shofur are among the kings of the hill at the company. It’s a technology-driven company and culture that thrives on the creativity of its employees

*The perks are great. Lunch is typically provided and there are snacks and a beer tab at the office. The pay is the best perk as the technology team is paid well above the industry standard

Leadership is always listening and looking for ways to grow the company. Being on the technology team, you can always approach leadership to provide input on how to make improvements to foster growth

    Cons

    * As expected for a startup, hours can get long at time, but you're rewarded for putting in the effort and work

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you're doing to grow the company as fast as you have been.

I have been working at Shofur (More than a year)

    Pros

The company has market fit and is highly innovative in the space. Great leadership especially in the marketing and sales dept.

    Cons

Like with any startup things can get hectic at times and you're asked to work beyond regular business hours. But the growth and opportunity that comes with it is worth it.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the hustle. You have first mover advantage and make sure you stay ahead and innovate like you are.

I have been working at Shofur full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Shofur is a great work environment. I really enjoy how fun and exciting the environment is. While we have a good time, we also work very hard and get some pretty challenging tasks. It's definitely one of the best startups to work for in Atlanta.

    Cons

None that I can think of

    Advice to Management

    Keep on keeping on!

    Advice to Management

The people in this office are the most valuable asset this company has. Whatever happens, cant lose sight of that fact.

    Pros

Love this job! Great pay and great benefits! The CEO is really awesome and pays for our lunch 75% of the time.

    Cons

We work hard around here so if you consider that a con then so be it but I don't mind a little hard work.

    Advice to Management

    Give me a raise please

    I worked at Shofur full-time

    Pros

Hardworking leaders with strong potential for improvement and growth.

    Cons

Company benefits from numerous fake reviews on Facebook and TrustPilot. User profiles on those sites are empty and review many of the Shofur brands. Leadership admitted to working with a third party on reputation management which led to fake reviews. The significant fake reviews (100s) hide honest negative reviews by diluting them.

Company made up USBA/US Bus Association website to mimic the actual industry association ABA. The fake USBA is used to rank company brands like GoGoCharters as #1 in the industry.

USBA also ranked Ally Bus as #1. People internally claimed Ally Bus is a fake competitor setup to make Shofur and Gogo Charters prices sound better.

Four people left Shofur within a month of starting after learning of the fake information and sharing with management. Employees either left on own accord due to ethics concerns or were let go by leadership.

    Advice to Management

Shofur and new brands like Charter Up have significant potential to improve the industry. Rely on quality customer service to grow company instead of fake reviews. Work with Facebook and TrustPilot to remove all fake reviews. Create a culture around customer service.

I have been working at Shofur full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The clients are calling to you! No cold calls and rejection. The amount of opportunity is unreal. Just like any sales job there is lots of hard work to be put in but the results are well worth it.

    Cons

The location is great but traffic can be bad, but it is Atlanta.

    Advice to Management

Keep the open door policy going as the company grows. It is great to always know I can rely on the management team when I need help!

I worked at Shofur full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Well stocked break room, nice whiteboards, newer laptops. CEO/CTO is typically nice and fair.

    Cons

Typical startup culture. They will want you to work somewhat more than a typical large corporate company. CEO wears deep V-neck shirts.

    Advice to Management

    Move to a larger office.
