    Corporate Responsibility across site. Local Charity Committees let you feel involved in smaller grass root charities as well as the larger national charities. Well facilitated offices. Good overall parking. Internal employee nomination scheme for working "Above and Beyond" Focus on employee wellbeing. Extra days holiday for your Birthday. 1 day off to go and volunteer with a charity/cause. Strong Service... Desk team, with ability to learn from experienced teams. In-house Learning and Development team means you are getting training that is relevant and bespoke to the company and your needs.

    A steep learning curve, however a personal observation: Shoosmiths can offer a wonderful opportunity that is well worth the initial learning curve of working for such an ambitious company. Fully engaging in the process and using the continual development services on offer will help greatly if you have the right drive and determination.

    No personal development Not so much 'empty promises' as 'dangled and always out-of-reach carrots' agonisingly slow implementation and improvement of services by everyones standards Those who have been loyal to the company haven't been competitively rewarded

    Advice to Management

    Drop excessive bureaucracy when it doesn't make you work better. Listen to those who genuinely care about their job and the firm and be seen to take notice with those who don't.
