I worked at Shoppers Stop full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

An amazing team. Access to a very wide client base, hence opportunities to exercise all creative faculties. Highly reputed organisation. Great potential- if you ignore the dirty politics and bullying in the name of manager-subordinate relationship.

    Cons

Salaries not per the general market trends, unjustified increments to certain people and the lack of to the rest. Highly political environment- work tends to take a backseat when it comes to winning over bosses. Lack of clarity and guidance from the managers in the higher strata, hence focus gets blurred and energy is directed towards random protocols and exercises instead of actual productive work. Highly centralized power and unnecessary interference of the high authorities in really petty matters resulting in a highly stressful environment for people who actually come to work. High disparities between salaries among different individuals working in the same profile- on the basis of god knows what. In short, join in if you're very good looking or dumb or have extremely low self esteem and you would be happy. Anyone else will have a hard time not losing their head stuck in the political paraphernalia.

    Advice to Management

Pay better. Try retaining good and hard working employees. Decentralization of power very important. If you have hired someone, definitely they know their job right. Guidance is welcome, unproductive interference is a nuisance and bullyin is a big no-no. Trust your employees to do their jobs right. AND PAY THEM WELL.

I worked at Shoppers Stop full-time

    Pros

Very unprofessional at all levels, if you hate moving a muscle or working this is the company for you

    Cons

There is no vision, finally they will get somewhere. Place is a snake pit and very unhealthy environment to work in. There is no salary or grade parity, your junior could earn double your salary and ways of working are unethical. If you're a pretty girl or good looking guy be ready for some attention. Entire top mgt wants to micro manage not just work even whom you talk to you

    Even the facilities-toilets are unhygienic

If you get awed by pretty penetrations sweet talk and hike, you will regret it and leave in 2 month's I left in 3. There is a set of people who get away with murder there

    Advice to Management

Get professionals at the top from professional companies..... If the was a zero ranking on glassdoor you would earn it
