May 19, 2023 - Shop From Home Clerk in Clinton, NJRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Clinton Shoprite has some great perks already with what they offer to employees such as decent pay, Overtime pay is eligible for FT workers immediately. Benefits for Health and Dental Insurance eligible within first 30-60 days of employment. Paid on Weekly basis, Offers Direct deposit payments, Shift differential for overnight employees, offers bonuses if any, other benefits offered, etc.
Cons
Has consistent hours BUT Grocery Retail has a very Demanding Work Schedule for both part time and full time but especially for FT workers. Poor Work/Life balance with the limited time off you have for the work week. There aren’t different and flexible schedules offered or available for employees if they wanted a choice or to have some flexibility that would be a nice option to consider to be more diverse with different schedules for different employees. Retirement and 401k benefits, Vacation, PTO days are not offered immediately and that would be nice to have sooner than later. ProperTraining and People Skills Classes for HR and Management should be offered. Skill building and teaching Managers the best behavioral and emotional education and tools to improve how to handle many challenges and problems that can occur in the workplace. Training for minimizing the Prevention of any workplace discrimination or harassment, hostile work environments, enforcing positive attitudes and work cultures to ensure a safer workplace and protect all employees from any negative impacts or experiences that can arise in negative/or toxic employment environments.
