I have been working at Shure full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great corporate culture and atmosphere. All of the people that I work with are highly skilled, motivated, and a joy to work with. All of my managers have been very helpful, supportive, and fair. Great work-life balance (very few people work late or weekends on a regular basis). The products that the company makes have an excellent reputation, which is well-earned in my opinion due to their high quality, high reliability, and good feature set, along with the company's highly-respected customer support.

    Cons

The product development process is a bit conservative and not on the bleeding edge of technology, though I think this is true of the audio industry in general. I am satisfied with the salary and benefits, but they seem to be somewhat below the industry average, as far as I can tell.

Great people, good benefits, very solid company

    Cons

As in many companies where people tend to stay for many years, growing is not that easy, especially from middle management and up

    Advice to Management

Keep the good atmosphere and try to spread it through all the subsidiaries

I have been working at Shure full-time

    Pros

Stable company. Privately held. People at working level are generally nice

    Cons

Pathetic leaders. From Manager and above, people are insecure bunch of folks who are very selfish, interested in taking all credits and assigning all blames below. They also lie in front of the CIO to save their face.

    Advice to Management

Shake up your leaders. They suck.

I have been working at Shure full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A privately held company that actually cares about its associates. The work-life balance is perfect, and there are multiple avenues of advancement. People are amazing and belong in their roles.

    Cons

Considered a small company, so positional availability is limited. You need to be a high performer to continue employment here. The coffee machine may break, causing significant lines at the café.

    Advice to Management

Keep expanding, keep growing, and don't forget to share more information concerning the company's overall health and wellness.
