    Pros

Environment was friendly, yet professional. The company encouraged employees to learn and work on new development technologies in order to keep upgrading the technical skills of human resource.

    Cons

The aspect of employee activity monitoring was unusually very strict & very high (when we compare it with other employers' practices). It was very irritating.

I worked at Sidat Hyder full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great learning opportunities because of a huge Clientele of around 400+ Companies of Retirement Benefits and 50+ Companies of Life Insurance , Great salaries once you start clearing Actuarial Exams and get Experience and it is the best platform for your future Actuarial Career. Plus free Study material and reimbursement of Exam fees.

    Cons

Highly non professional environment; that is you will not learn professional ethics at this place. You will get to learn about the Actuarial work in particular, sadly not professionalism (such as dress code, punctuality or conducting meetings). Highly political work environment only in the Actuarial Department (survival of the fittest).

    Advice to Management

Upper Management must get involved more with the Actuarial Department and interact with the employees on regular basis.
