I have been working at Siemens full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I work for a small division, recently bought by Siemens. Pros of working here are flexible hours, generous PTO policy, and fun people to work with.

    Cons

High turnover of management, small fish in a big pond mentality, and must work five days per week in the office.

I have been working at Siemens full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Depth of Portfolio, global player, excellent benefits and compensation. Executive management has the desire to do the right thing for the customer.

    Cons

Too many silos. Working across operating companies can be a challenge and sometimes precludes us from winning business. Packaging the entire portfolio can be very difficult due to separate P&Ls.

    Advice to Management

Empower middle management to do the right thing for the customer.

I have been working at Siemens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, company phone, vehicle, gas card, laptop, tools are all provided. Great medical and dental insurance. Lots of free training provided.

    Cons

Sometimes hectic, and overwhelming projects and unorganized management, causing stress and anxiety on the technicians. Management is the exact opposite of micro management until something goes wrong then they over micro manage.

    Advice to Management

Better organization of projects and management of technicians.
