    Pros

    Solid company with good benefits. Mostly not about what you know but who you know. Best part are the talented people you get to work with on a daily basis.

    Cons

    Very difficult to move up within the company since they usually promote preferred candidates and not due an extensive search.

    Advice to Management

    Take more time to know your staff skills.

    Flexible Hours, decent pay, great coworkers & managers

    No ability to increase pay as a contractor or intern, not much room to grow for software developers in an engineering firm

    Large multi-national with good opportunities for advancement. Highly multi-cultural environment. High levels of respect for all individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity.

    Too many re-organization efforts.

    Too many unfollowed, complicated processes. Simplify processes so all can see and agree with the benefits of following them.

    - Decent paying internship for software developer in orlando area
    - Amazing small team of awesome people I worked with
    - Great manager
    - Flexible schedule

    Cons

    - Too much bureaucracy within company
    - Huge company size means you won't be recognized
    - Higher-higher ups are too dull and old school
    - Nonsense dress code for a people who don't ever see any customers

    Advice to Management

    Quit talking about how innovative you are and just start being innovative instead. Also, it shouldn't take well over a week to push app updates.

    Pros

    Paid time off and pay is above average. International company so you have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

    Cons

    Very political. No development or growth. Hard to move up as it has flattened. Unorganized. Silos. Poor leadership with minimal support.

    Pros

    Siemens provides a great benefits package. The dress code is casual and they offer lots of fun activities. Good chance for advancement from within.

    Cons

    Migrating too many positions off-shore. Company is a little too top heavy. They give generous PTO but finding the time to take it is near impossible due to work load.

    Advice to Management

    Company needs to provide a better work/life balance and enforce employees to use their PTO so that they have a chance to renew and revitalize to avoid burn out.
