I have been working at Siemens as a contractor

    Pros

A welcoming team full of new ideas
    Respectful and helpful co-workers
An active Diversity Council with many opportunities to get involved as well as volunteer opportunities to give back to the community

    Cons

Still stuck in the past; flexible hours and work-from-home days are still new to the company (in the U.S. at least).
Very headquarters-centric (headquarters are in Germany)

    Advice to Management

Continue modernizing the work day with more flexible hours and work-from-home days and create a more innovative space to work.

I have been working at Siemens full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My immediate coworkers are a joy to work with. My supervisor has an open door and is approachable. There is room to grow with Siemens, benefits from day 1 and many perks. Some people can work from home.

    Cons

Most people commute so more satellite offices or more availability to work from home. My position doesn't allow it.

I have been working at Siemens as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of independence, many opporitunities and areas to gain experience. Management rewards hard work with compensation rather than praise. You must be a go-getter type and be willing to learn anything and everything.

    Cons

    Work exepectations are often unclear.
