I worked at Siemens as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing seems quite to work in the woodlands division.

    Cons

Poorly Manage by Locals no doubt listed as Multi National Company. Cultural mishap and no team work

    Advice to Management

Contractors in the company work and contributed as a team. But when comes to recognition, they were being totally forgotten and ignored by the Senior Managers.

I worked at Siemens full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

GREAT employees - they are very passionate about their job and believe in the products

    Cons

Ultrasound HR Management team is incompetent and doesn't encourage teamwork. This team has close to 100% turnover rate so I would NOT recommend any HR positions.

    Advice to Management

HR Leaders need to investigate the high HR turnover rate for the Ultrasound and Molecular Imaging businesses.

I have been working at Siemens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's actually a good company.....if you get a proper Siemens company and not lousy Rolls Royce company like I did...

    Cons

I have been here for just over a year and it's been hell because my face did not fit according to three self appointed guardians of Rolls Royce. I challenged one over him trying to stitch me up over job cards I had just taken over from a bloke who retired because he was being harassed by the same three individuals. He said that they were unsafe, I said that yes they were not written correctly and asked whom was responsible for ensuring standards (I later found out it was him and he was deliberately trying to fit up the bloke that retired for a disciplinary because he hated him) l also told him that I had phoned several customers that said that they have been using them since 2013 and had no issues with them. That started him off on a hate campaign of epic proportions. He had a female friend that was moved to another section because she was getting far, far too familiar with him (he being married). They both denied any untoward behaviour (which I found out to be a complete lie when I accidentally found him and her hiding in an alcove with his hand down her jeans). From that moment on all I ever had was abuse that was deliberately aimed at isolating me from the rest of the office and also threats that they would "sort me out". I ended up bringing a Royal Marine fighting knife into work just in case this mental idiot decided to make good on his threats. Due to this I have missed out on several opportunities for training and promotion. Nobody is going to give anybody a chance if they are regarded as useless. I also began hearing that I had lied on my CV and my background was false. OK, before I worked at this toilet, I worked at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston. I spent over 8 months being vetted by various agencies that have the letter I in thier three letter title. I decided to complain and that was a mistake as if you are RR, you can shoot a man dead in the office and the other RR men will swear blind you were never there and the victim must have committed suicide. I have come to the end of my tether. I find out I am at least the third person this man has abused. He made up lies about his old forman to get back at him for his time in the workshop, he made up lies about another author in the Middle East to steal credit for all of his work, he also tried to carry out a hate campaign against a senior project manager at a client in China and got sent home in disgrace. It was all covered up when the senior PM went to Human Resources to have him sacked.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of RR culture

    Pros

    Good transport links.
    Facilities are good.

    Cons

Dress code is suits for no reason.
Company is out-dated and old fashioned.
Runs a Rank and Yank policy to employees- HR enjoy firing people.
The more junior the role the more you are messed around
Inflexible- can't even leave 5mins early for any reason.
Asked to put over £200 of pizza on my own credit card by my boss.
Graduates are cheap labor to them.

    Advice to Management

    Graduates treated very poorly.
    Get rid of the suits.

    I worked at Siemens full-time

    Pros

    International

    Gehalt ist normal

Dort gibt es nur "Chefs" oder "Werkstudenten"

    Cons

    Advice to Management

    Schlechteste Personalabteilung / Talent Management
Sich mal auf Bewerbungsunterlagen bedanken und/oder absagen ist nicht schlimm
Große Distanz zwischen Mitarbeiter und Führungskraft
