Doesn't matter much now, we lost the contract and the entire division pretty much shutdown.

    Pros

Best technical products in the market, period.

    Cons

Top Management has no clue about the internal employees' frustration as well as business overheads. Middle Managers and senior managers are often handpicked by their german bosses.

    Advice to Management

If Siemens wants to continue to be the leader in the world, top management should employee 360- degree feedback mechanism and listen to internal employees feedback besides customer feedback

    Pros

Typical factory work. Good pay. Worked there as a temp for about 8-9 months, then was hired on full time for a little over a year and a half before a layoff.

    Cons

High expectations with little to no reward. Over time was constant and never thanked for extra time. If you were unable to work late when asked it was very frowned upon.

    Advice to Management

I am sure it has changed a lot since I was there. But offer more rewards other than OT pay for extra time worked. People might be more likely to volunteer for it that way.
