I have been working at Sig Sauer full-time

    Pros

Benefits are great, product is awesome. Great people to work with.

    Cons

Sometimes get a little overzealous during the good times, end up laying off workers in the slow times.

    Compensation is just ok.

    Advice to Management

Take a closer look at middle management. Some of the people who were acceptable managers as a small company can't hack it in a larger more professional atmosphere.

I have been working at Sig Sauer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generally, good people to work with and decent benefits. Set schedules are nice as well.

    Cons

Management is hit or miss. Sig generally puts you where it needs bodies rather than where you are best suited for a job. This can lead to high turnover and good, smart, hardworking people being stuck in dead-end positions with no upward movement in sight.

    Pros

Pay is good so are the benefits. Co-workers were great to work with but they are frustrated too!

    Cons

Management expects too much. They expect that you conform to their way of doing things and think it is the best way.
Don't p i s s off management. They will let you go in a heart beat. If you do things their way and kiss their butts, you will be ok. Otherwise you're just another pawn.

I worked at Sig Sauer full-time

    Pros

They offered decent wages and benefits. They also offer a nice discount on their products if that is something that interests you. I don't have much else positive to say about the company.

    Cons

The work environment was strongly political. You were expected to work the maximum allowable overtime. There was no work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people rather than creating an expectation of working long hours.
