I worked at Sigma Cubed full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Was once a great place to work where employees were valued, and the benefits were great.

    Cons

They demote or fire people who put in years of hard work, while promoting people with no experience that are manipulative. Management looks the other way with abusive employees, creating an extremely hostile work environment.

    Advice to Management

Inexperience is a big problem, treat your employees with respect, invest in your employees and they will stick around, hire more people instead of making everyone work to death. Listen to your loyal employees instead of giving full control to those that are new at the company and repeat the same mistakes that were learned from in the past.

Get rid of the people that thinks they are the boss especially the ones that have no expertise or education in the subject and likes to BS their way up.

Cut loose folks with poor judgment and questionable ethics regardless of their persuasive talents and rebuild with competent, proven leadership.

I worked at Sigma Cubed full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work is very interesting. Microseismic is a fledgling field with a lot of room for improvement. Exciting to be on the cutting edge.

    Cons

60+ hours per week plus "real time" jobs where you have to work all night

    Advice to Management

Have a longer-term view instead of so short-term. Put employee happiness above profit. You can't run the company like people are expendable and expect them to stay long. All the qualified people leave and then you're left with nothing
