I worked at Signature Consultants full-time

    Pros

I really felt like Signature has great things going on in the St. Louis office. They have great leadership in place and excellent accounts to work with. I was very surprised by the negativity out there about them because that was not at all what I experienced when interviewing and receiving an offer from them. If you go to work for any staffing company be prepared to work hard, make calls and be accountable.

They take exceptionally good care of their consultants and pay them well. Signature Consultants is leading the pack in this department by recognizing their consultants truly as employees and making them feel they are part of a something bigger rather than just another billable consultant.

    Cons

If you're not a person that can start your day early (taking kids to school, etc.) they will have to make special accommodations for you. Which in the St. Louis office they were more than willing to do but I'm not sure if that is sustainable, the culture is an earlier shop.

    Advice to Management

Continue to work on local market branding and ask more internal employees to complete reviews of your organization. It's a good place and needs more positive recognition.

    Pros

Great environment, culture, break room with TONS OF SNACKS, mentor program to help you learn for three months, Friday morning breakfast, music playing, help always if you need it, transparency, and lastly support! Everyone is there to help you and wants you to succeed. Great experience especially if you are looking for an entry level recruiting job!

    Cons

If you aren't competitive, this isn't the job for you. Fun competitiveness with weekly contests if you meet your numbers. Work hard play hard!

    Advice to Management

They do an awesome job at making sure there is transparency and that you are comfortable to ask questions.

    Pros

Geat culture. Everyone wants to see you succeed.

    Cons

Long work hours. But you also have to work hard for what you want in life so it goes both ways.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the employees that bring value to the company early on.

I worked at Signature Consultants full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Fun group of people in the office, always laughing and having a good time
    - Close knit group of people who hang out and really form a family
    - The culture is amazing to work for
    - Paid pretty good for someone out of college
    - If you do well you will make good money
    - You learn to be a very hard worker and every other job after seems so easy

    Cons

    - When you're going through your training program there will be times when management goes into a room and talks about you, this creates some insecurity for newer employees
    - There could be more guidance from management, especially when they think you could be doing better, sometimes that isn't communicated the best so you have to make sure you are asking for it
    - There's always so much food, you'll be sure to gain some weight
    - It's a hard job, but so worth it

    Advice to Management

Invest and communicate more with newer employees. Give them the courtesy of making sure they know you are there for them and investing in their future. It's important to communicate not only clear expectations but if they aren't meeting them to understand why. It's pretty cut throat at headquarters, so just give employees the support they need to succeed in their job.

    Pros

A company that likes to have fun and go out all the time with clients and each other for drinks. You are forcibly encouraged to do so.

    Cons

need to watch your back. They have a tight circle and they all take care of each other and everyone else is looking in.

    Advice to Management

be more open about what is going on and make it a more team environment

    Pros

    - You become a pro at telemarketing basically.

    Cons

    - Everything. The company boast about hire college graduates and people that fit a great culture but in reality there is none. The company is set up with making recent desperate college graduates eager to enter the work force, a " great opportunity". This is spent with long hours making cold calls and then the leads they do provide are terrible. I would never work for them again nor advice anyone else to.

    Advice to Management

Terrible structure. You have old guys that stand around talking to the girls and not helping everyone else. This was the worst company that I have heard of or worked for. The fact that you make your employees park in a bus stop parking lot is a red flag enough. The premise that your doing a "sales" job is comical enough considering its basically just setting up appointments to try and have someone else higher set up the deal. Advice is to have less old guys walking around trying to talk about going to happy hour with college level girls and more people willing to help and grow the company. I am sure Dr. Cohen if he had a camera inside the building would not like how this company was ran. Huge turn over rate, terrible hours, horrible culture, a bunch of older people that prey on college kids.

Hours expected are terrible and unfair. The pay is very low compared to competitors as well.

I worked at Signature Consultants full-time

    Pros

-learned much about self and Corporate America (being my first job out of college)
-coworkers were willing to help out at times

    Cons

-coworkers and management could be highly critical
-would trash talk previous employees regularly
    -hardly any office culture
    -base salary very low
    -very little work/life balance
    -wasn't a very professional atmosphere
-in constant fear of getting laid off

    Advice to Management

Focus on hiring and keeping employees. Management and coworkers would almost boast about how it takes a certain type of person to work here and if you don't make the cut then you'll get laid off.
