    I worked at Signature Flight Support (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    The company's values, leadership, safety culture, technology, and people. At many locations the team members genuinely take customer satisfaction to a whole new level.

    Cons

    Size of the organization sometimes leaves people isolated. Not consistent and sometimes ineffective in company-wide communications. Employees need to be more empowered. Inadequate employee recognition programs.

    Advice to Management

    See my list of cons. Also, work to ensure feedback is delivered promptly to the affected employee. Greater efforts to retain employees following accidents, incidents, or mistakes. Don't be so quick to look at the dollar cost of the incident as your determining factor. Ask yourself whether the employee was malicious in their intent and if they otherwise add value to the team. Be willing to rehabilitate versus terminate.

    Pros

    Fun environment, good people, get to meets lots of interesting customers, great way to get into the aviation industry

    Cons

    working in all types of weather conditions from brutally hot and dry to miserably cold and raining. Upper management seems very disconnected from line staff. Low wages

    I have been working at Signature Flight Support full-time

    Pros

    Almost every week was something new. Very fast paced environment that offered exposure to numerous areas of the business. Things are rarely stagnant.

    Cons

    Support is limited--everyone is subject to the same environment and are often buried in their own projects. The fast paced environment can very quickly become stressful, and can last for periods of time lasting weeks or months before slowing down.

    Advice to Management

    Encourage different teams to work together. They often work off of the same data, and to encourage sharing of said data would increase productivity.

    Get Along with Coworkers
    Don't have to work out in the cold

    Dealing with Limo Drivers(its like babysitting)
    Keeping up with the constant demands of Pilots and their Pax

    A need for constant flow of communication amongst staff at all levels.

    Pros

    You get to meet high profile clients like Tom Brady, Gronk, Steven Tyler, etc. Free catering on a regular basis, and it's a great step into the field of aviation for college students going to DWC and other nearby schools.

    Cons

    Management is out to protect themselves. Your job is always on the line. If management doesn't like you, if you make a major mistake, or a string of minor mistakes the management team will hang you out to dry like nobody's business. Working conditions vary with the weather as 85+% of your shift is spent outside. Equipment is over 35 years old.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on proper training and support your employees. The business is founded on LST's and without them, Signature falls. Take better care of those employees and listen to their suggestions. Be more approachable.

    Pros

    -Fast Paced
    -Fun coworkers
    -Get to work with all types of aircraft if you love aviation
    -Allows for part time if you are going to school
    -Overtime is consistently there if you want it

    Cons

    -Can be overwhelming if too busy
    -Many of times your work is not valued by pilots or passengers which can be very frustrating if you know you are trying your best
    -Pay is really low
