    Pros

Great management and family atmosphere. Life/Work balance was highly valued. Best boss and staff I have ever worked with. Period!

    Cons

Limited earning potential. Stressful turnaround times. Not too many other cons.

    Advice to Management

Great management. Bonuses or commission may have kept me in my position. Transparency to staff was great and really contributed to everyone's loyalty. I miss working for them.

    Pros

Business casual clothing most days and once a week they buy you lunch of an employees choosing.

    Cons

They are small family companies. The Rockville, MD owner would tell us when she thought we should be done with lunch (lunch was only a half hour max), she would not allow you to leave for lunch, when there was a snow day employees would have to sleep in the office to ensure that everyone would be there the next day, did not allow time off for doctor visits or vacation. They dont allow you to have insurance for 3 months and when you do, they tell you that is your raise. Worst of all, she micro manages the employees. If you dont have your email up on the screen in a specific way, she will take the computer away from you.

    Advice to Management

Stop micro managing, give employees opportunities to grow, happy employees will be more beneficial to you.

    Pros

Got to work in the Sign Industry which help me grow as a designer to know how things are put together in the production word.

    Cons

I was never given the chance to design in the company and felt my college schooling was not being used at all.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees the chance to grow in your company.

    Pros

It was a great work environment! The team worked very well together and my opinions were taken into account with all of the projects. The owners are really good guys and have a great sense of humor. There is a strong support system and they are very easy to talk to about any issue.

    Cons

I can't say there was anything I would describe as a con of working there.

    Advice to Management

Take out the carpet next to the roller because the iPanel always shocked me.

I worked at Signs By Tomorrow USA-Inc full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

As bad as it is to say, I cant think of a single PRO.

    Cons

Worst place I have ever worked at. Management at the store level is incompetent to say the least.
You will constantly be treated like a child and get reprimanded when Mgt screws up. No 401K, Health benefits will not even completely cover you when Ill. They want you to go on installs, then fight you over the gas money they owe you. Which they pay way below the federal guidelines.
Pay is very low compared to the rest of the industry. Equipment is old.

    Advice to Management

Realize when you make a mistake and own it. Do not blame your employees for your screw ups. Offer better insurance and a 401k plan to let your employees know they are appreciated.
