I worked at Silver Hill Hospital (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great staff who really care about helping others.

    Cons

Staff turnover. Some of the old-timer's need to move on who are rather entrenched to make room for innovation.

    Advice to Management

Support the staff that they can support the mission.

I have been working at Silver Hill Hospital full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Everyone (employees) with whom I work helps one another. Coworkers seem generally happy to be here and are unquestionably qualified. The hospital is well organized, very efficient. It is great to be surrounded by coworkers who love what they do and are consistently kind to one another. Continuing education opportunities are offered right on campus. The grounds are beautiful and the buildings that staff work in are very pleasant. The policies and procedures make sense.

    Cons

I would not change a thing. Okay, parking could be better. But I can't think of a way to solve that, so I guess management can't either.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I worked at Silver Hill Hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers who really care about the patients. Opportunity for growth and movement, competitive salary

    Cons

Some of the senior management focused too much on numbers and were rigid when unnecessary. There was a little bit of favoritism but if you were Favorited it was a great job.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your staff, they are the product. Make them feel appreciated, there is a high burn out rate so it is wonderful when managers were supportive.
