    Pros

    Brilliant implementation of a visionary methodology for detecting and visualizing fraudulent web activity within corporate infrastructure.

    Excellent technological choices and product release management.

    Emphasis upon understanding and enhancing team collaborative agility by recognizing individual perceptive and expressive traits.

    Cons

    After acquisition by RSA, startup vitality diminished with transition to a "safe" management style, and adoption of the standard productivity and assessment tools of EMC.

    Right Technology at the right place at the right time
    World class VP of Engineering and Director of Strategy
    Great team ethic between Analysts, SE and Sales

    CEO who leads from the front and is the main reason for this company's rapid growth and team culture

    Cons

    The two Founders slow growth and lack commercial experience of coporate values and ethics.

    Advice to Management

    Let the CEO manage, keep the founders away from the business and this will be a big success story.

    Pros

    Fundamental concept around the product is good and has potential to grow. Perks are good.

    Cons

    Incompetent managers who behave more as engineers. They don't have time to meet subordinates in a formal setting. (once in quarter!!) So no career advancement or setting milestones for personal development. Senior engineering team members have ego issues. Code review process is a joke.

    Advice to Management

    Conduct skip-level meetings. For an organization of this size, it has too many levels in the hierarchy. Flatten it.

    Pros

    There are several reasons to work at this company. Good product that customers really like. CEO has the place thinking like a very customer focused company. Sales guys sell a lot of software. Management team works well together.
    Market for this product is growing.

    Cons

    The goals for the company are big so it is hard work.

    Hire faster!

    Pros

    Nice Office Space
    Good Office Location
    Very competent and smart technical/development teams
    Strong sales force

    Cons

    The Executive Team is extremely weak (inexperienced, egocentric, non-cohesive)
    CEO has a sales/marketing background but no visible leadership skills/experience
    Conflict amongst execs and management results in a confused and divided workforce
    Politics exist in every organization, but the politics and scuttle-butt at the lower levels of the company result in disruption and dissatisfaction at all levels of the organization
    Non-competitive salaries and internal inequities in pay and stock option grants

    Advice to Management

    CEO needs Executive Coaching, asap
    Feedback, especially when employees request it, needs to be timely and direct
