    Pros

    Great benefits, learning opportunities for advancement and employee recognition
    Very client centric. Big enough to offer customer diverse services, but still has the same small bank/ family feel to it.

    Cons

    Work life balance can be challenging during times of transition.

    Pros

    I enjoy working for Simmons because they give plenty of opportunity for growth within the company.
    I also like the fact that this is a growing company.
    If you look at the staff at Simmons, you will notice employees that have been with the bank for a long time, this to me, shows that the company is a great place to work.

    Cons

    Sometimes working with a company that is growing fast, you have growing pains, so this would also be a downfall, but they are constantly making changes to meet our needs and continue to improve daily.

    Pros

    Simmons has grown exponentially, yet still manages to keep it's small bank feel. We're a community bank, and I think our customers can feel that when they come to us with a financial need. The benefits are great from the insurance to the ESOP plan to the 401K match to various incentive programs. I've found a lot of success at Simmons, and I feel hard work is rewarded and potential is seen. I came to Simmons through an acquisition of the bank I previously worked for. That particular bank had its challenges, so Simmons has always been a breath of fresh air for me. I have nothing but good things to say, and I would recommend working for Simmons if you're looking for a job in the financial industry. 10 times out of 10 I would recommend this bank over area banks hands down.

    I honestly don't really have any cons. I love working here, and I have nothing but good things to say.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work! Maintain the small feel! Keep patting your associates on the back!

    At Simmons, the associates are friendly and the leadership team is progressive. The atmosphere is creative and fast-paced. Overall, it's a fun place to work! I especially appreciate the open door environment and the commitment to teamwork. Simmons has a strong and vibrant culture – the associates are passionate, talented and customer focused. In fact, our #1 focus is making our customers happy. We are growing and it's exciting to be a part of a successful company. And did I mention our stock is awesome?

    Slightly short-handed - we need more people to help deliver excellence in customer service. We are growing and this is a short-term issue.

    Pros

    Excellent work environment/associates that are not only wonderful co-workers but family that ensure a personal relationship with each customer.

    Cons

    Training and Communication has been a downfall in the past, although it is slowly improving.

    Advice to Management

    Throughout all the conversions, training and communication have not been great, please continue to focus on improvements in this area.
