I worked at Simmons Bedding full-time

    Pros

    Pay, and that is ALL.

    Cons

    Horrible management
HR is about as smart as a box of rocks(Well everyone in the office)
    Hours are terrible
    Very unprofessional employees
    literally, NO QUALITY CONTROL
Asked to ship out substituted product constantly
    Very dangerous environment
    Very dirty
roughly 2 people speak english here
They ignore you like an object on the floor

THE BATHROOM omg is always discusting. I mean they will go DAYS without a soap dispenser. Urine and fecies all over the bathroom floor and walls. The smell, I mean terrible.

Mold growing off the water dispensers, I mean thick mold
Inhalation of dust and metal shraps
    Break room is always nasty
Vending machine broke down once and filled with gnats, they just put more food in it
I mean the list goes on

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, or better yet, just treat them like people.

I have been working at Simmons Bedding full-time

    Pros

    Get lots of overtime

    Cons

6 day work week all week is 10hrs 8 on Saturdays.
Management do not really care about you as long as they get their bonus they will work you till you drop. Hr is pointless can't ask them anything because they don't know.

    Advice to Management

Care more for your employees and less about yourselves

I worked at Simmons Bedding full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Easy Work.
Everyone is very friendly for the most part.

    Cons

Takes forever to get hired in. You have to work very long hours monday to saturdays, so you have very little time to spend with family. work-life balance is non-existant. expect you to make an unreachable goal even though they know they are short handed.

    Advice to Management

listen to your employees more, fix whatever problem comes about don't just put a bandaid on it hoping it'll fix itself.

    Pros

Made lots of money when it was private. Got to do a lot of traveling. Original management team great.

    Cons

Could not manage their way out of a paper bag. Long list of production managers. Last time I was there the HR, Production mgr and Operations magager were all let go. Only to be replaced by lizard people that eat maggots.

    Advice to Management

Get used to using a revolving door.
