I worked at Simon-Kucher & Partners for more than a year

    Pros

Because the firm is so small, you get a lot of exposure to upper management, even as an intern. You get lots of responsibility on projects and even get to present to clients. The people are friendly and the office culture is great.

    Cons

Their focus on pricing means that you do not get the same exposure across functions in the business world that you get elsewhere, and you can quickly get sucked into an even smaller niche like B2B pricing based on the office you work in.

    Advice to Management

Put in place better structures to set expectations for and to give feedback on your work as an intern

I worked at Simon-Kucher & Partners for less than a year

    Pros

    - Little to no hierarchy - SKP is good at what they do, which is any project related to prices - Great learning opportunities - Good exit option - Reasonable work/life balance for a consultancy

    Cons

    - SKP projects' almost always have a pricing focus. Little diversity in this respect - Compensation is higher at other consultancies
