Pros

Smart co-workers, Sports tech problems, Super Expensive Parties

Cons

I was present when someone at the company wrote all of the 5-star reviews on behalf of non-english speaking employees. I have repoted this to Glassdoor and they have not answered. I don't understand what happens at this company. CEOs are spending money flying around the world and we have nothing to show. Many C-level guys randomly fired. Wouldn't care so much if I wasn't verbally abused by CEOs on regular basis.

Sinking Boat

Pros

There was a good time many talented people gathered together and worked on innovative projects. When I joined the company, it had a very good culture and kind leadership. I worked with a lot of smart and brilliant people.

Cons

Leadership are not capable of making correct decisions. Always miss deadlines, change company's goal from B2B to B2C and then back to B2B, honestly they don't know what to do but layoff people to cut cost. A few months after layoff entire DS team of around 30 people, they again let go 50% employees with excuse of COVID-19. It's not surprising because current CEO is not technical at all and just want to save money. I was surprised that the CEO keep aggressively questioning a team lead during a weekly demo, being really not kind and treat employers as his servant/slave? Anyway, not worth joining now! And I think they will never be able to go back to its peak time. It was a very good place to work at before 2020. So I feel sad seeing the company now looks like a sinking boat. However, all my great/brilliant colleague has left the company so its a good time to leave.

Pros

A few smart, decent people. You will get better at office politics.

Cons

I feel obligated to warn people to stay away from this company. In my career, I've worked at almost a dozen companies, and never have I felt more disgusted by leadership and even many rank-and-file employees. There is very little humanity, and employees are tremendously selfish - this has significant ramifications on your mental health. People are very opportunistic, and many employees, recognizing the technical deficiencies of the senior executive team, use small tech wins to sway leadership into ridiculous stances. For example, a couple engineers who were asked by leaders to complete a certain project, upon completion, convinced leadership to get rid of many talented technologists. They took control, commanded massive unwarranted pay increases, and even embarked on a campaign to change everyone's titles. Noticing the success of these two technologists' political games, other employees quickly began ingratiating themselves with leaders, lobbying for pay increases and firing their political enemies. This is a nasty group of people at SimpleBet, playing unprecedented politics. Finally, the senior leadership team burns money at magnificent levels, paying themselves millions a year, for doing almost nothing useful except deluding investors.
