    Pros

The location of the headquarter is great. Employees are very helpful, intelligent, and friendly.

    Cons

The indoor decoration is dime and depressed somehow. The management that I worked for was low effective and disorganized to some extent due to the lack of leadership from a supervisor.

    Pros

Peoples there are nice and most of them are professional.

    Cons

As a SOE, the compensation is actually not that competitive.

    Cons

Only 1 person responsible for all decisions..huge unsatisfaction in employee..they even delay increments by 6 months ...none wants to join their sales team in India

    Advice to Management

China management should look into India leadership ..just 2 guys run the show at their will.

I worked at Sinochem full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

100% safe and stable. You get to keep your job no matter how poor you perform.
Working environment is easy and slow.

    Cons

It's very hard for you to achieve something. If your idea works out, it's your boss's merit. Once fail, it your own problem.
    Promotion is very vague.

    Advice to Management

Even if you cannot change the way you run business, please at least pay more attention to Sinochem branding because no employee wants to be mistaken as working for Sinopec or Chemchina.

    Pros

Relatively efficient compared to other SOEs in China. Good platform for new-graduates to start a career. Friendly and helpful colleagues.

    Cons

Constrained by "wage cap", Salary not so competitive in some areas, especially in Finance, Real Estate, etc.

    Advice to Management

bureaucracy still exists, particularly within functional departments in HQ. If they can reduce this, management efficiency should improve a lot.
