I have been working at Sioux Steel Company (More than a year)

    Pros

The company has some good people that are trying to improve it. The company has the ability to become a great place to work. It has improved since i started and will continue to improve if they keep the good people they have.

    Cons

There is a lot of unnecessary dysfunction. The different brands within the company do things differently and don't communicate well. Management structure is convoluted and confusing. My supervisor had 9 bosses that he reported to that all had different ideas about how things are done. Communication between management and night shift is horrible.

    Advice to Management

Figure out a structure and do whats necessary to improve the company up to and including getting rid of people who refuse changing for the better.
