    Pros

Good pay. Good clients. The upper management team are a good group of people. The overall company is good and seems knowledgeable.

    Cons

They over sell you to a client and throw you into a position and it's sink or swim.

    Advice to Management

Be sure your consultants understand the position totally before placing. Makes better quality employees.

    Pros

    Professional HR, Courteous Staff

    Cons

"Tell them what they want to hear" mentality....literally

    Advice to Management

Get in touch with your projects and know what it takes to get the job done

    "Run away from this place"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

None. I cannot think of one single good thing to say about this company. It's a joke. Save yourself some misery and find a job with a company that appreciates it's employees. The only reason I gave one star is because it wouldn't allow me to go negative!

    Cons

Incompetent management. Stupid decision making. Blind to serious issues within certain departments. Don't listen to good, hard working employees. Bonus system is a popularity contest or based on who's sleeping with the boss. Hard work isn't recognized or appreciated. Some management people are very unprofessional and have no business being in the position they are in.

    Advice to Management

Value the few employees you have left and stop covering for people who don't do their jobs. Leave inappropriate relationships with your employees outside the office.

    Pros

Lots of autonomy. Senior management doesn't micromanage the consultants. Lots of opportunities to work from home.

Best used as a pit stop until you can find a real full-time permanent job with real benefits.

    Cons

In many cases, the company can't keep salaried consultants busy - and if there is a prolonged time on the bench, company switches salaried consultants over to hourly (which means you get paid only when you bill hours). This recently happened to quite a few of the salaried employees. No room for growth. No 401K match. The company contributes very little to health care. No chance for stock options. No company-sponsored CPE (Company does not provide nor will it pay for you to attend an appropriate CPE course).

    Advice to Management

Just admit it - you are nothing but a glorified staffing firm that treats your salaried employees like hourly contractors. You should be reported to the DOL! Partners are leaving and not getting replaced. Business development can't get clients and work for consultants.

I worked at Sirius Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of autonomy. Senior management doesn't micromanage the consultants. Lots of opportunities to work from home. Great bonuses (if you have billable hours to qualify for one).

    Cons

In many cases, the company cant keep salaried consultants busy - and if there is a prolonged time on the bench, company switches salaried consultants over to hourly (which means you get paid only when you bill hours). No room for growth. No 401K match.

    Advice to Management

Get yourselves together. Partners are leaving and not getting replaced. Business development can't get clients and work for consultants. And seasoned professionals are not going to commit to the company for an hourly position. Invest in good salaried employees to build the company.

I have been working at Sirius Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In general the people are nice. The client treats you well generally.

    Cons

Not forthright. Nor do they really know how to sell, get new client, don't trust their employees.... No 401k match. You can buy Obamacare for the same amount you pay for their insurance. Vacation time is only good for salary which few will get. They will not be straight with you. They will spin positive on amount of work or spin positive on your suggestions. Every time you offer anything, they will tell you the industry doesn't work that way.

I worked at Sirius Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Provided an opportunity to demonstrate skills, ability and experience on a contract basis. Produced revenue for the company consistently over a number of years.

    Cons

When contract assignment is completed and there are no current contract jobs to be assigned, employee is released.

    Advice to Management

Treating hard working employees as just a commodity will not help your reputation or improve your company culture. You might try meeting with the people that are actually producing your revenue and make them feel valued.

I have been working at Sirius Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is good, their benefits are ok, they are generally nice, and they provide nice business travel perks

    Cons

They consistently deceive you about the amount of work they have available. Although they claim they have many projects, you will spend a lot of time out of work and not getting paid.

    Advice to Management

Be more forthright about the extent to which you can keep your employees busy full time.
